C23000/H85 Brass Coil is Red Brass (85% Copper, 15% Zinc), supplied in coil form for continuous processing. It is the most corrosion-resistant of the common brasses, offering superior resistance to dezincification and stress corrosion cracking in water environments. C23000 retains a desirable reddish-gold color, boasts excellent cold formability for drawing and stamping, and is highly solderable/brazeable. It is extensively used in plumbing and water-handling systems for pipe, fittings, and heat exchanger components, as well as in demanding architectural applications where longevity in wet conditions is required.
